These
plants are not to be confused with tropical hibiscus
that only last for one season in gardens above
Zone 9 in the southeast. Perennial hibiscus consistently
return year after year and produce an abundance
of huge flowers all summer long that are 8 to
12 inches in diameter! The flowers come in color
shades of red, pink, lavender, and white. These
beauties are perfect near the garden pond, hot
tub or swimming pool, however we use them in other
situations as well. Most varieties grow about
4 feet high by 4 feet wide in size with the exceptions
of 'Swamp Hibiscus' and 'Confederate Rose' that
grow over 6 feet in height and spread.
