The
2000 Perennial Plant of the Year! This drought
tolerant perennial plant produces lots of lavender-blue
pincushion like flowers over a long period beginning
in late spring all the way to frost and even beyond.
The blooms sit atop wiry stems which hover over
a short-mound of ferny basal foliage. They make
a good cut flower and attract lots of butterflies.
Good drainage is essential for healthy plants. |
